Benchmark’s solid timber furniture has Red List Free Declare labeling, which certifies that it contains no harmful toxic chemicals and meets the standards for WELL certified buildings. Declare is an internationally-recognized form of ingredient reporting that confirms transparency about the materials used to make your piece, where it comes from, and where it goes at the end of its life.

We are diligent about selecting trustworthy carriers to ensure that your items arrive safely and as quickly as possible. 

Returns + Exchanges – Stocked items

We are happy to accept returns and exchanges for stocked items within 30 days of purchase. Clients will be responsible for the cost of shipping in both directions.

Returns + Exchanges – Made-to-Order items

Please be sure to measure carefully and thoughtfully consider custom and made-to-order purchases. These items are non-returnable or exchangeable. We cannot cancel delayed orders resulting from manufacturing or shipping delays. We will apply a 50% restocking fee (plus shipment costs) for any refused deliveries. 

Making it right

We partner with the best artisans and most reputable carriers to make sure your order arrives in excellent condition. We’ll work with you to make it right if you receive an item that is damaged or defective and reported as such upon delivery. We want you to love your purchase!

Benchmark Furniture warranties that purchased product(s) will be free from manufacturer’s defects in material and workmanship for a period of 5 years. The warranty does not cover defects or damages directly or indirectly caused by misuse, poor maintenance, violence or tampering for a period of 5 years.
