Comprised of solid wood joined with tenons, the Final Chair — so named as the last of designer Hans Wegner's iconic round-backed armchairs — is a generational piece of craftsmanship, made to be passed down through generations. It constitutes the core philosophy of both ecological and economical sustainability. A single length of solid wood is steamed and then bent for the backrest; the singular nature and wood grain of each tree makes every piece unique. The joints of the chair are built to withstand one ton of pulling strength. 

Available with a woven paper cord seat (PP68) or an upholstered seat in fabric or leather (PP58). Please contact us for pricing, lead times, and finish options.

A label of authenticity is branded into each piece and a certificate that guarantees its originality is included. Each piece and the accompanying certificate is marked with the initial order number, giving access to verifications of provenance and warranty.

Returns + Exchanges – In stock items

We are happy to accept returns and exchanges for items stocked at Prevalent Projects within 30 days of purchase. Clients will be responsible for the cost of shipping in both directions.

Returns + Exchanges – Ready to ship items

We accept returns and exchanges for “Ready to ship” items, provided the return is made within 14 days of purchase and with the original packaging. Clients will be responsible for the cost of shipping in both directions. If the return is made later than 14 days and/or without the original packaging, we will apply an additional 25% restocking fee.

Returns + Exchanges – Made to order items

Please be sure to measure carefully and thoughtfully consider custom and made-to-order purchases. These items are non-returnable or exchangeable. We cannot cancel delayed orders resulting from manufacturing or shipping delays. We will apply a 50% restocking fee (plus shipment costs) for any refused deliveries.
