The Tissø Sofa is a reissued version of the perfectly formed Model 185 sofa, designed in 1952 by Danish architect and designer Alfred Christensen. Featuring a distinctive heart-shaped back and handworked solid wood feet, the sofa is named after the lake in West Zealand where Alfred and his son Guido would often go fishing. Tissø's internal frame is constructed from solid beech using traditional joinery methods, set atop European oak or American walnut feet. Tissø comes in a range of upholstery options, from smooth fabrics to mohair and sheepskin.
