We designed our Island Project in a collaborative manner with our clients. They asked us to fuse the aesthetic we have cultivated in our shop with a very relaxed bohemian beach house vibe. Design, comfort, and functionality were all held in equal light, which certainly made it challenging. We took the walls down to the studs and reimagined all the surfaces, as well as moved the central staircase to offer a better view to the media room/children’s playroom. We had most of the furnishings and some of the light fixtures custom made by a variety of artisans we work with. The remainder we sourced from our shop and a few of our favorite vendors in LA. We couldn’t be any happier with the way it all turned out.
