Nestled in the Saint Francis Wood neighborhood of San Francisco, this home remodel is a sprawling project. In 2025 we completed the living room, dining room, and the entryway and stairs, with the rest of the house to follow next year. We brought in the wood walls and floors, retiled the fireplace, and designed custom cabinetry to define the space. Drawing on the Nordic and Japanese influences behind Prevalent Projects, we curated the lighting, furniture, and finishes with an eye towards warm textures: ribbed paper and wool blend shades for the centerpiece lights, soft sheepskin and woven details in the lounge area, and smooth, rich leather paired with grained oak for the dining room. The result is a space that feels sleek and modern, without losing the comfort and personal touch that makes it feel like home.
