The outdoor version of Fritz Hansen's Cura oil is specially formulated for protecting and strengthening woods used in outdoor furniture, such as teak, cherry, and mahogany. The Cura Outdoor oil slightly saturates and darkens the surface of the wood, bringing out the beautiful nuances of the silver-gray patina that naturally forms in wood placed outdoors. The oil leaves the surface well-nourished and resistant to water, dirt, and grease.

Clean the surfaces before oil treatment and remember to let the wood dry. Sand down the rough areas with sandpaper. Apply the oil according to the instructions. Allow the oil to dry and harden for 48 hours before exposure to water. Repeat the oiling 1-2 times a year.

Please be sure to measure carefully and thoughtfully consider custom and made-to-order purchases. These items are non-returnable or exchangeable. We cannot cancel delayed orders resulting from manufacturing or shipping delays. We will apply a 50% restocking fee (plus shipment costs) for any refused deliveries.
